Appeals Practice

Appeals in Northern Nevada

A bad verdict is not always the final word. If a legal error affected the outcome of your case — evidence wrongly admitted, a statute misapplied, a procedural violation that changed the result — you may have grounds to appeal before the Nevada Court of Appeals or the Nevada Supreme Court.

Our appellate practice is led by Lucas Glanzmann, a former judicial law clerk to Nevada Supreme Court Justice Ron Parraguirre. Lucas has seen how appeals are decided from the inside. He writes briefs that are precise, grounded in the record, and built around the issues that actually move appellate courts.

We also work with trial attorneys across Northern Nevada who need appellate brief-writing support. If you have a deadline and a file that needs a brief, we can step in as of-counsel.

In most civil cases, you have 30 days from judgment to file a notice of appeal. Missing that window ends the appeal with very limited exceptions.
